Pocket doorframes with lifetime warranty
We stand by the quality of our pocket door frames which is why we are able provide them with a lifetime warranty.
You can rely on us. We will arrange for you a free replacement for pockets, carriages or installation packs.
To qualify for a new pocket and carriages, you must meet the requirements for your product complaint to be accepted.
Requirements for recognition of lifetime warranty:
- The contractual warranty only applies to replacements of faulty products or product parts and is valid if the door frame has been installed and used properly. (Does not apply to the installation/removal of the door frame and other services.)
- The warranty applies to the pocket door frame, the carriages and the installation pack. Other accessories for pocket door frames are covered by a 2-year warranty.
- The product must have been installed in accordance with the installation manual enclosed with the JAP pocket door frame.
- The warranty does not apply to pocket door frames that have been inexpertly installed, mechanically damaged (during handling or transport) or to pocket door frames used in contradiction with the intended use (i.e. used improperly).
- The customer must submit a proof of purchase. Also the complaint about the pocket door frame must be filed at the place where it was purchased.
- JAP FUTURE does not cover the expenses for the removal of the defective product or installation of the new pocket door frame.
- The replacement product will be delivered within 30 days of the defect being reported (complaint filed).
- JAP is not liable for damage to the casing or the door during the removal of the pocket door frame.
It is also necessary to take a picture or record a video showing a visible defect on the product. If you find a defect, we recommend first contacting JAP's complaints department; some defects can be easily eliminated without the need to remove the entire pocket door frame. The customer then files the complaint at the point of sale where the pocket door frame was purchased.
